Our products

Referred to the ancient Japanese tradition consisting of charring the exposed surface thus creating a durable exterior burnt surface, our Serenity Brushed Natural Hemlock Shou Sugi Ban charred wood is used for interior paneling and exterior siding. We heavily burn the surface and brush off the soft layer, leaving a beautiful combination of char and deep exposed grain with light brown hues. We then coat the surface with a sealer. The look is unique with its heavy raised knots and rich character.
