Our products

Referred to the ancient Japanese tradition consisting of charring the exposed surface thus creating a weatherproof and durable exterior burnt surface, our Hawaii Deep Charred Douglas Fir Shou Sugi Ban charred wood is used for exterior siding and interior paneling. We heavily burn the surface and brush off the soft layer, leaving a beautiful combination of deep char wood cracks similar to the texture of a crocodile. We then coat the surface with a sealer. The look is unique and refined, and Douglas Fir is a great option for exterior application as it is weather resistant.
